You can spot the Mainstages I & II, the Warzone (where circle pits are legally considered a cardio workout), and the Temple & Altar stages, home to the black and death metal faithful who probably haven’t seen daylight since Slayer retired.

Every corner’s got something wild going on: flame cannons, massive skull gates, giant statues, a freakin’ metal chapel, and more beer taps than a small Welsh village. 🍺

🎸 A City of Sound and Sin:During festival week, Clisson’s population explodes from around 7,000 to over 200,000. Imagine that — a quiet French wine town suddenly invaded by the world’s loudest family reunion. You can literally see the chaos from space — stages lined up like warships, camps sprawling like an army encampment, and a haze that’s 50% dust, 50% BBQ smoke, and 100% rock ‘n’ roll spirit.

🔥 Hellfest 2026 Is Already Shaping Up to Be Biblical:Every year they somehow outdo themselves — from Metallica to Ghost, Iron Maiden to Gojira, no one brings the fire (literally and figuratively) like Hellfest.
